The relay valve is a part of the automobile air brake system. When pressed on the brake pedal, brake valve output pressure as relay valve control input pressure, under the action of the control pressure, open the inlet valve, and compressed air and by the accumulator directly through the inlet into the brake chamber, rather than through the brake valve. It greatly shortened the brake air chamber of the pneumatic pipeline, accelerated the chamber of the inflation process. Relay valves which are used at the end of long pipeline, the storage cylinder is full of quick braking chamber with compressed air, as in a trailer or semitrailer braking system.
