Established in 1992, Dongfeng Special Car Company which is located at the foot of Wudang Mountain and in Bailang high and new technology development zone in Shiyan of Hubei Province, is a sole subsidiary and a mainstay enterprise of Dongfeng Corporation for research and production on special cars.
With a floor area of 110,000 and industry construction area of 30,000 square meters, the company has set up a number of production lines like whole-car assembling, chassis assembling, refitting cars and parts. It possesses 287 sets of producing and testing equipments. Among them, there are eight special-car series consisting of passenger-cars, tippers, oil-carts, sprinklers, bulk cement cars, semi trailers, vans and derrick cargo trucks.
The company uses CAD or CAPP auxiliary design for production opening up, technological improvement and design.
